A fabulous repeat customer bought 8 items from my Etsy shop during the week, including all of my upcycled pants, so I'm having to make a few more pairs to restock. This is the first 2 pairs, there are more to come.

Edited: Evie told me that should couldn't find the pants- I thought she'd seen these pics and wanted to see the real ones, but now I realise she meant she pressed some buttons, and the pics disappeared. Not sure how, I wasn't signed in to the blog when she did it. So anyway, they are back, but a little rearranged.

Red riding hood cape

I made this cape from a man's turtleneck sweater, by felting it in the washing machine first, then cutting the yoke part in an arc, then cutting up the front. The turtleneck part then became the hood, but it was a little short, so I gathered up the cape with wool about 4cm below the hood. I lined the hood in red riding hood fabric (which I meant to take an up close picture of) which I also covered a button with. It fits both girls, so it should be good for dress ups for a few years.
