We got some 8 week old babies today, the youngest chickens we've had before. They'll stay in this little house until they're ready to lay eggs in another 10-12 weeks, then they'll join the big girls. Their names are Coco and Brownie.
One of two China Flat peaches just planted in the nature strip (or verge as the rest of Australia seem to call it). Ours is very narrow, so they are little dwarf trees.
And on another note, we found some of the Grenada Chocolate that we used at River Cottage in a local shop called Chocolate Supply Co. For the locals, it is at 320 Pakington St, Newtown, Geelong.

Coco and Brownie are very cute :)
It's always been a nature strip for me! I imagine they'll be quite lovely in years to come.
The first time I heard 'verge' was when Costa said it on Gardening Australia. It's 'nature strip' down in Melbourne.
I know girls, always been nature strip to me, but Josh Byne calls it the verge over in WA too.
It's a nature strip to me too. Nice about planting out your dwarf peaches and love your new chicks too. :) What breed are they?
They're Isa Browns, Jessie, they'll go darker as they get their big girl feathers.
