The 10 panels are up, and they'll be back in the morning to install the inverter, and put the cables through the roof.

It's solar day

This is what's happening at our place today! 10 solar panels, 2 kW up on our roof. I hope you can't see any tradie's crack ;)

Winter's nest skirt

I'm just playing around with a few ideas for women's skirts for an upcoming market. This is today's effort (amongst all the Christmas preparations), the Winter's nest skirt, made from charcoal denim, and a screen printed panel by Kristen Doran. This one is a size 12.

I'm quite impressed with my Christmas baking for the last day of kinder ;) It will be the same for Playgroup Christmas party on Friday, very festive!

Evie took some photos of her dolls house and people, so Daddy could see (he's in Japan at the moment)

New wardrobe!

We had a wardrobe installed in the girls room today, I'm so excited to have space to put things away now! I had planned to start filling it this afternoon, but the installer said to wait until Sunday morning so all the sealants can dry properly. Now I just have to stop the girls from slamming the doors etc, so it CAN dry properly! And the doors will be painted this summer.

Myer Christmas windows 2010

We had a day in Melbourne yesterday to look at the Myer Christmas windows, as we do most years. For those unfamiliar with the Myer windows, they have a narrator that tells a story, and each window is a scene from a book, and it has moving puppets. They are quite magical, especially for children. This year's story was the Nutcracker.
