I wanted to make a little dress for Evie (for next summer) out of this unicorn fabric from Modern Retro Fabrics, but didn't have quite enough. I found a fat quarter of orange full moon fabric by Amy Butler in my stash, just perfect for contrasting sleeves. It's been too hot to do much, so I whipped it up while Liv slept yesterday. It's the first time I've sewed with double gauze, I didn't realise it's actually 2 layers of gauze fuzed together. Not so easy to sew as it tends to stick to itself, but anyway, I'd like to make another one in the princess and the pea print as well.
