Happy Mother's Day

This is what we enjoyed for breakfast this morning, Andrew worked on them yesterday, and baked them this morning.  You can't beat a homemade croissant, they were made with spelt flour, lots of organic butter, and buttermilk I'm trying to use up before I make more butter.  I even had a small glass of fresh squeezed orange juice from homegrown oranges, squeezed by Andrew and the girls.

I've been watching a couple of Youtube clips, which despite their length have been fascinating.
The first one is on GAPS (1 1/2 hours)
A great introduction and easy way to understand gut flora, leaky gut and GAPS diet, probiotics and how to get them.

The second one is by Sally Fallon, author of Nourishing Traditions, speaking on What is a traditional, healthy diet?  How to prevent disease.  This one goes for nearly 2 hours, but well worth it.  Just press pause when you need to leave the computer.  I folded washing while listening to some of it so I wasn't sitting still.

Happy mother's day, mothers!
